Who needs to install Rinkle Desktop?
Students use the app to join classes, open assigned work and run supported camera measurements. Teachers and homeschool families sign in on the web to prepare and lead lessons.
How do districts, schools and families get started?
A Rinkle administrator creates and enables district, school and homeschool accounts. Each account can then manage its own learners and learning activities on the web.
How do I set up camera measurements?
Sign in to Rinkle Desktop, allow camera access on your device and follow the facial calibration steps. Classroom students can calibrate without a separate administrator approval. Homeschool families can manage camera measurements in their family settings.
Do I need a document camera?
No. Docucam is optional. It adds a view of paper-based work when a second camera is connected and configured.
What do the learning signals mean?
They are estimates to support a teacher’s judgment. Camera-based signals are computed on the student’s device after camera access and calibration. Missing measurements are shown as unavailable.
Does Rinkle replace my meeting app?
No. Keep using your meeting link. Rinkle brings together class materials, learning signals and follow-up insights alongside it.
